MIME

The ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy (MIME) leads the government efforts in promoting and development of industrial sector in Cambodia. To implement this mandate and to contribute to national economy development, MIME industrial sector (General Department of Industry) sets a medium term (2008-2012) vision to " Improve and upgrade industrial productive capacity in efforts to stimulate economic growth and increase living standard of Cambodia people through: a reform that leads to strengthening efficiency and effectiveness of public services provision, creation of enabling business operating environment, and enhancement of public - private partnership." Following the above vision, MIME's industry sector interventions shape priority primarily on industries and SMEs having high impacts on human development and great potential for growth in economy.
